WHY DOES THE PH LEVEL OF AN INTIMATE WASH FORMULA MATTER?
Healthy skin in the vulvovaginal area (the area just outside of the vagina) has an acidic pH in the range of 4 to 6. True soaps have an alkaline pH in the range of 8 to 10, which can can be harsh on vaginal skin. Washes at the appropriate pH level will be the gentlest on the delicate skin of your vaginal area.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SENSITIVE PLUS AND SCENTSITIVE SCENTS™?

Scentsitive Scents™ Daily Intimate Washes cleanse and provide all-day freshness with skin-friendly scents that are gentle on delicate skin–because women shouldn’t have to compromise between scent and sensitive skin.
A prebiotic is a food or nutrient source for bacteria. As an ingredient in Vagisil® pH Balance Daily Intimate Wash, the prebiotic lactitol can provide nourishment for the vulvar lactobacillus, a strain of friendly bacteria that naturally occurs in the vagina.

Vagisil® Prohydrate® Moisturizing Gel contains a small amount of glycerin and works together with Hyaluronic Acid and other water-loving (Hydrophilic) ingredients, that provide instant and time-released moisture, lubrication when needed, and comfort for any activity with less mess and convenience.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE VAGISIL® CREMES?
Both Vagisil® Maximum Strength Anti-Itch Creme and Regular Strength Anti-Itch Creme + Prebiotic have 2x the itch-fighting medicines or active ingredients: benzocaine and resorcinol. These formulas form a protective coating on the skin and numb instantly to provide temporary relief from pain and itch. The main difference between Vagisil® Maximum Strength Anti-Itch Creme and Regular Strength Anti-Itch Creme is the level of active ingredient. Vagisil® Hydrocortisone Anti-Itch Creme for Sensitive Skin uses hydrocortisone acetate as the itch-fighting medicine or active ingredient. Gynecologists recommend hydrocortisone because it helps the natural healing of the skin and provides fast relief from itch and pain. This Vagisil® Creme also contains soothing oatmeal in a dye-free, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic formula.
